As a New Jersey native from the city of Newark I've always had my eyes on digital designs. Before coming to Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2007 I discovered my talent through a computer game that earned me a nomination to introduce it at an Art Show. From grade school; all through middle and high school. As well as, throughout college. I've always strived to be the best I can be. Not only in school but outside of it as well.
Once I was able to get a job at 16 I first started off as a laundry worker for the European Renaissance Spa and when that didn't work out for me I went into fast food working at Sonic as a cook. In the need for something different; I then set out to work at K-Mart as a sales associate before its permanent closure in 2017. I then tried UPS as a package handler before deciding to go back into the retail business as a sales associate at Family Dollar for 3 years and then Walgreens for over a year. Before working as an Uber Eats driver; along side as an independent contractor for The Bakers Property Preservation Company and forming my own business.
Now I say all this to share where I've come from and what I've experienced before becoming self-employed. Please see this as inspiration to let you know that if I can do it so can you!
Before attending Long Hill Elementary School in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2007 I was enrolled at Washington Academy of Music in Newark, New Jersey from Pre-K to 2nd grade. There I got basic education but had problems with my speech. Therefore having to attend speech therapy and was slowly being considered as having special needs but my family didn't allow them to classify me as such.
Once I came to North Carolina and attended Long Hill Elementary school I got into clubs such as, drama and art. Went to Pine Forest Middle and High school appearing in honors classes. All before attending an early college program at Fayetteville Technical Community College in my last year of high school. And receiving nothing but A's and B's all throughout if I may add.
Due to a fresh start I went back to New Jersey and stayed in Union for a year while attending Union County Community College. Before coming back to Fayetteville, North Carolina after being accepted into Methodist University; where I at first was studying Computer Information Technology and received The National Society of Leadership and Success Certificate; as well as an A in my speech communications class my junior year. Prior to graduating in 2023 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and minor in Computer Information Technology.
Moving forward I hope to broaden not only my talent and skills but as well as my clientele. I'm looking forward to collaborating with sole proprietors and small business owners; helping them to grow their business as they help me to grow mine. I want to inspire those both near and far that you don't have to be confined in doing it one way or how everyone else is doing it. Instead; you can do it your own way, persevere through whatever challenges arise and still come out a winner!
